c) Orthopaedic
Orthopaedic Specialist sessions are held at 4 of the
Council's clinics. 228 pupils made 593 attendances at
these sessions during the year, including 120 new
referrals.
d) Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is provided at 5 of the clinics, in conjunction
with the orthopaedic sessions. 657 children
made 1948 attendances for treatment, including 278
new referrals.
Child Guidance Clinic
783 children attended the Child Guidance Clinic during the
year, including 317 new referrals.
At the end of the year 599 cases were under treatment and
51 were awaiting their first appointment.
Dental Clinics
Dental treatment is provided at 9 of the Council's clinics.
16086 children were inspected by the School Dental Officers
in school and 5007 received treatment at the dental clinics.
13304 attendances were made for treatment.

School Clinic Sessions
Medical consultation sessions for school children are held
regularly at each of the Council's clinics and at the School
Clinic at Hilldene Junior School. Treatment of minor ailments is
also available at these sessions.
