Statistics Relating to Births and Deaths.
During the year there were registered in Friern Barnet 206 births,
119 boys, 87 girls; 77 deaths were registered, 46 male, 31 females.
The population registered within the Asylum is reckoned as 2,535,
and this is not included in the general population of District. The
Asylum for purpose of statistics is reckoned as a separate building.
The births were equal to an annual rate of 27.5 per 1,000 living at
all ages.
The deaths were equal to an annual rate of 10.3 per 1,000 living at
all ages.
