It is hoped that the number of children attending this Clinic
will increase during 1930, and dimish the large number of children
who attend school at the age of five years with their teeth in so bad
a condition that it is almost impossible to attempt to give them a
satisfactory set of teeth in adult life.
The quantity of Fresh and Dried Milk supplied to necessitous
cases under the assisted milk supply scheme during the year was as
follows:—
Fresh Milk 6,250 7/8 gals., costing £600 3s. 10½d.
Dried Milk 2,200 lbs., costing £166 6s. 9d.
Co-operation with the Education Committee.
One of the most important pieces of work that has been
carried out during the year in co-operation with the Head Teachers,
has been the visits by our Health Visitors to the Senior Girls'
Departments for the purpose of demonstrating to the older girls
in our Schools how to bath a baby.
