Form la boys, with their teacher, Miss Knight, visited the Evening
Standard works and saw the paper printed from start to finish. A very
interesting visit which we hope will be renewed at some future date.
This excursion has had an incalculable effect on the morale of the School,
and will be remembered for a very long time. We hope to extend this
visiting to works in Croydon for both boys and girls during 1951.
His Majesty's Inspector of Schools, Miss R. C. Goulden, visited the
School and inspected the girls physical training, and expressed her
pleasure at the results obtained by Miss Thompson.
Finally, we once again ended our year with the Christmas Carol and
Tableaux Service. A large number of parents and friends joined us.
Among our guests we warmly welcomed the Lord Bishop of Croydon
and the local inspectors.
