RHEUMATISM CLINIC.
The total number of children whose names were on the
" live " register at the end of 1945 was 179 (males 81, females
98). The working of this Clinic has been greatly interfered with by
evacuation, and difficulties arose in renewing contact with returning
evacuees. Appointments were made for 47 children, of
whom 46 attended. Facilities for special investigations of
patients attending the Rheumatism Clinic are available at the
Mayday Hospital, and during the year two cases have been
referred for further examination where this has been found desirable.
