DIPHTHERIA IMMUNIZATION.
Diphtheria Immunization has been carried out at the clinics
and the assistance of the teachers and their co-operation has been
much appreciated.
The number of children between the ages of 5 and 15 years
immunized against Diphtheria during the year was 281. This
is, unfortunately, a decrease. Concentration is, however, being
directed towards pre-school children.

A substantial increase in these treatments has taken place
during the year, especially in breathing exercises after operation
for removal of enlarged tonsils and adenoids. This is a satisfactory
feature showing an appreciation by parents of the value
°f this post-operation training.
