Dust Prevention.—In addition to the tar-surface treatment, a
dust preventive preparation is extensively used with satisfactory
results. Owing to the modern method of road-surfacing, tarsurfacing
and dust preventive treatment, very little street watering
is necessary, but when required an electric wagon fitted with an
interchangeable watering tank is employed.
