76 butter	Food Inspector, St. Marylebone Borough Council	Genuine. .	£500 per ann. for 700 samples. Over that number 7/6 per sample	6 were test samples, 6 contained no preservatives, 43 contained less than 20 grains boracic acid per lb., 28 contained 20-30 grains boracic acid per lb., 1 contained 31 grains boracic arid per lb.
2 butter		Adulterated.
		No. 583. Contained 80 per. cent, of fat other than butter fat.		No. 583. Fined 4/- and 10/6 costs.
		No. 676. Contained 80 do.		No. 676. Fined £1 and 12/6 costs on 1st summons and 2/- costs 2nd summons.
12 cream		Genuine.
3 margarine		Do.		These were test samples.
1 whiskey		Do.		This was a test sample.
1 gin		Adulterated.		This was a test sample.
		No. 560. 42.9 degrees under proof		Do.
2 beer		Genuine.		Both were test samples.
2 lime water		Do.		Do.
1 coffee		Do.		This was a test sample.
2 Dover's powder		Do.		Both were test samples.
1 boracic ointment		Do.		This was a test sample.

FOURTH QUARTER ENDING 3IST DECEMBER, 1915.
116 milk		Genuine.			8 were test samples. No sample contained any preservative. 16 samples contained artificial colouring matter.
73 butter		Genuine.		5 were test samples, 6 contained no preservatives, 43 contained each less than 20 grs., 25 contained between 20-30 grs. and 1 contained between 30/35 grs. of boric acid per lb.
2 butter		Adulterated.
		No. 757. Contained over 50 per cent, of fat other than butter fat.		No. 757. Fined 30/- and 10/6 costs.
		No. 761. Contained over 60 per cent, of fat other than butter fat;		No. 761. The defendant pleaded guilty, but as it was the first complaint in 20 years trading the Magistrate dismissed the summonses.
		13 cream		Genuine		3 were test samples.
		2 beer		Do.		Both were test samples.
		2 whiskey		Do.		Both were test samples.
		2 coffee		Do.		Both were test samples.
1 mustard		Do.
