Although milk can only be sold under this name if a licence is obtained, and if the
process of pasteurisation has been carried out according to methods detailed in the Milk
(Special Designations) Order, attention must be drawn to the fact that a considerable quantity
of milk is now sold as ordinary raw milk, but which has been pasteurised by various methods.
It is not sold as pasteurised, but us ordinary milk, therefore the order is not infringed ;
but the fact that the milk has been treated by heat is not disclosed.
