1. High Street, Lambeth, recently altered and
vated, at a cost of £64.
2, Wanless Road, Loughborough Junction, near to
the railway arches of the L. C. & D. Railway, in
process of erection, at a cost of £1,539.
The Norwood Ward is still unprovided with a separate
Mortuary, but after the expression of opinion by the Vestry
for some years past as to the necessity of providing one,
it is satisfactory to report that a site was sanctioned by the
Vestry, at a cost of £400, alongside the Cemetery gates and
at the bottom of Auckland Hill, Norwood, on December
10th, 1896.

During 1896, 373 bodies were received into the Mortuary, 221 males and 152 females, as follows:—
