The principal causes of increased mortality are Cancer,
Apoplexy, Enteric Fever, Ulcer of the Stomach, and the group
of infantile affections, viz.:—Premature Birth, Debility at Birth
and Congenital Defects, and Want of Breast Milk, Marasmus
