in more instances than in 1909.
On the other side there are some very striking decreases in
mortality from particular diseases.
Heart diseases caused 24 fewer deaths than in 1909, Phthisis
16 fewer, Diabetes 15 fewer, Respiratory Diseases 14 fewer, and
Measles 11 fewer deaths.
