Legal proceedings were also taken in a number of cases where
infringements of various Food Control Orders and Regulations had
occurred. Particulars were forwarded to the Ministry of Food and
the Local Food Control Committee as well as to the Ministry of Health.

Of the 17 samples of butter, 8 contained percentages of boric
acid as follows:—
