[Report of the Medical Officer of Health for Poplar, Metropolitan Borough]

cautioned. Samples were taken on delivery, viz., 7 Poplar Institution.
4 Out Relief Stores, 4 St. Andrew's Hospital, 5 at Railway Stations,
1 at a L.C.C. School, and 2 at the canteen of a firm in the Borough. All
the samples were genuine. The Guardians were communicated with
in regard to the samples procured at the Poplar Institution and OutRelief
Stores, and the Managers of St. Andrew's Hospital were informed
of the results of analyses of samples taken at their institutions.
Results of Analyses.
Legal proceedings were instituted in 4 cases and letters of caution
were sent in three instances. In two cases no action was taken.
