Margarine Act, 1887, Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1899,
and the Butter and Margarine Act, 1907.
No application was received to register premises for the carrying
on of businesses of wholesale dealers in margarine and milk blended
butter.

The following is the number of premises in each Sub-District of the Borough registered and in use under the above-mentioned Acts, up to and including 31st December, 1923, viz.:—

At the end of the year there were 1,450 houses on the register,
including 95 premises occupied by Chinese, which latter premises are
under constant supervision.
