There are eleven Voluntary Infant Welfare Centres in the Borough, and the attendances at these during the year are summarised below:—

A new voluntary Infant Welfare Centre was opened in April
at St. Cyprian's Hall, Brockley. This Centre will provide for the
needs of the families residing on the new London County Council
Honor Oak Estate, the development of which is proceeding very
rapidly, and also for those on a part of the adjoining Deptford
Borough Council Estate.
