Post-Natal Clinic.—This Clinic has been held throughout the
year on Tuesday mornings. It is gratifying to note that the number
of mothers who attended for a post-natal examination shows an
increase on last year.
X-Ray Examinations.—During the year six X-Ray examinations
of pregnant women were carried out at St. John's Hospital.
Downham Ante-natal Clinic.—This Clinic is held at the Downham
Health Centre on one morning each week. During the year
118 women attended, the total attendances amounting to 277. Seven
women attended for a post-natal examination.
Treatment Clinics for Mothers and Infants.
These Clinics are held on four mornings in each week at the
Wesleyan Hall, Rushey Green, Catford, which is rented by the
Council for this purpose, and two mornings in each week at the
Downham Health Centre.
It was found necessary to hold an additional session at the
Downham Centre to relieve the congestion which existed.
The Clinics are attended by one of the Maternity and Child
Welfare Medical Officers and two Health Visitors at each session.
