To assist the Public Analyst in determining suitable standards, surveys
were made in respect of certain foodstuffs, a wide selection of each particular
category being sampled. These included:-

Canned mixed meat and vegetable To ascertain reasonable minimum meat content
Shandies Standard of mix.
Fruit Salads/cocktails (10) Labelling offences in respect of order of
ingredients
Nutmegs (8) In respect of volatile oil content.
