When made up the sample was found to have a stale taste and
to be of low solubility.
Its label made a general claim that minerals were present but
gave no quantitative particulars.
Action taken—Distributor of product, which is of Australian
origin, when informed of Public Analyst's comments, took
immediate steps to have withdrawn from retail sale any remaining
stocks of this particular brand.
The Condensed Milk Regulations, 1959
No samples of condensed milk were taken during the current
year.
