Gastro-Enteritis. (Under 2 years):
There were 18 cases notified; 9 were moderately severe and
9 were mild. 11 were removed to hospital, and all made a good
recovery.
Diseases not Notifiable in Finsbury:
The following information was received from Local General
Practitioners and other sources.
Gastro-enteritis (over 2 years):
There were 9 cases reported. No organisms were isolated in
any case.
Rubella:
There were 11 cases reported. No contact with any woman in
early pregnancy was discovered.
Mumps:
There were 45 cases reported. No complications occurred in
these cases.
Chlcbenpox:
There were 70 cases reported.
Glandular Fever:
1 case in a girl aged 6 years, who made a satisfactory
recovery. No contact with any other case was discovered.
Infective Hepatitis:
No cases or contacts were reported.
Influenza:
No cases were reported.
Food Poisoning:
