Concerning case (h), when the rolls were examined shortly
after purchase they were found to be spotted with green mould.
Following complaint, a further packet was found in the same store
likewise contaminated. From enquiries made, it appeared that the
growth of the mould was due to the fact that the rolls had been packed
in polythene while too hot. As there had been previous complaints
concerning this particular store the Committee authorised that legal
proceedings be instituted against the Company concerned who pleaded
guilty to the offence and were fined £5 with costs totalling £3. 3. Od.
