infectious diseases that were not notifiable, against 840 in the
previous year; 1,361 of these were Measles, 297 Whooping
Cough, and 311 Chicken Pox.

Deaths from the Seven Principal Zymotic Diseases.—The
total number of deaths of residents registered from the seven
principal zymotic diseases was 88, against 71 in the previous
year. The deaths of residents last year from these diseases
were equal to 53 per 1,000 of the total deaths of resident
registered and were at the rate of 0.7 deaths per 1,000 persons
living.
The following table shows the deaths of residents registered
from the seven principal zymotic diseases which occurred in
the ten years, 1915 to 1924.
