UNSOUND FOOD.
During the year no seizure was made.
A bath chap was brought to the Town Hall which was found
to be diseased (tubercular) and was submitted to the magistrate
at the West London Police Court, who condemned same
and gave an order for its destruction.
The summons issued was dismissed, the defendants having
proved to the satisfaction of the Court that they had no
knowledge of the same being diseased and that every precaution
was taken at the works to guard against the distribution
of diseased or unsound meat.
