Total cases in year = 1,610.

Zymotic Enteritis or Epidemic Diarrhœa.—Eighty-nine
cases of diarrhoea were notified throughout the whole of the Borough,
43 being under one year of age and 46 between one and five. Sixtyone
of such notifications related to patients in East Greenwich, 18
in West Greenwich, 3 in St. Nicholas and 7 in Charlton.
There were 18 deaths ascribed to Diarrhœa and Enteritis, but
only 6 were certified as Zymotic or Epidemic.
Whooping Cough.—This disease was made permanently
notifiable as from 1st November, 1921.
