was found not to be provided with a gutter to carry off
the rain. This was subsequently remedied. The condition of
all the remaining slaughter-houses was satisfactory to the Committee
at the time of inspection. During his visits to the
slaughter-houses, Inspector Bobbitt reports that he examined
the carcases of 263 oxen, 2150 sheep and lambs, and 18 pigs.
He found the following parts diseased
2 fore quarters with heart and lungs of an ox affected
with tuberculosis.
1 carcase of a sheep with all its organs, which had been
improperly bled.
7 ox livers affected with Distomatosis.
