DISINFECTION.
(a) Rooms.—During the year 1905 there were 2,354 rooms
fumigated and 792 rooms cleansed by the staff of the Public Health
Department. The corresponding figures for 1904 were 2,269 rooms
fumigated and 644 rooms cleansed.
The disinfection and cleansing done each month of the year is
set out in the following table. This table includes the disinfection
and cleansing after both notifiable and non-notifiable infectious
disease:—
