(6) Articles of Clothing and Furniture.—The number of
articles under this head disinfected at the Millfields Road Station
was 16,242. This disinfection is accomplished by means of saturated
steam. The number of articles thus dealt with was rather less than
during the previous year.
In addition to these there were 241 articles destroyed on request
from the owners. These are set out in the following table :—
