Fred T., age 1½ years, brother of above, is said to have fallen ill
oil the 26th September, and to have been admitted into the NorthEastern
Children's Hospital, and notified as suffering from enteric
fever.
Eliza T., age 12 years, sister of above, is said to have fallen ill
about the 21st September, was admitted into the North-Eastern
Children's Hospital on 25th September, and notified as suffering
from enteric fever on the 26th September.
Emily T., age 43 years, mother of above children, is said to
have fallen ill on or about the 19th September, but there are
evidences that she was ill at home a considerable time before this
date. She was, however, removed to the Infirmary, Homerton, on
the 26th September, and was notified as suffering from enteric fever
on the 27th September. Her condition got worse, and she died oil
the 25th October.
Henry T., age 17 years, son of above, is stated to have fallen ill
on or about the 25th September, was notified as suffering from
enteric fever on the 1st October, on which date he was removed to
the North-Eastern Fever Hospital.
William T., age 43 years, father to the last patient, is stated to
have fallen ill about the 24th September, but there appears to be
no doubt that he had been ailing some time before this. He was
notified as suffering from enteric fever on the 5th October, and was
removed to the Eastern Fever Hospital on the same date.
Annie T., age 7 years, another daughter, was removed to the
Hackney Infirmary on the 5th October, and was notified from that
Institution as suffering from enteric fever on the 21st October.
In addition to the above, another daughter, Emily, age 22 years,
fell ill about 15th September, and was admitted into the Metropolitan
Hospital, Kingsland, on the 29th September, where she remained
until 30th November, when she was discharged to a Convalescent
Home. This case escaped notification, but medical opinion at the
Metropolitan Hospital regarded it as an undoubted case of enteric
fever.
