IMPORTATION OF RABBITS
The importation of rabbits into this country
continues to increase. Over two millions
were imported from Australia and New Zealand
last year, which were valued at £60,000.
Frequently 20,000 are daily received at the
freezing stores during the non-breeding season;
they arrive in cases or crates, each crate
containing about 24 rabbits.
