NOTE.— The difference between the number of" Houses visited" and "Workshops
inspected," and " re-inspected," represents the number of houses occupied partly or entirely
by Dressmakers and others, at which no women workers were found to be employed.
" The Sub-Committee, at their meeting held on the 9th
April, in calling the attention of the Sanitary Committee to the
fact that the tentative appointments of the Inspectors would
expire on the 25th April, placed on record their sense of the
satisfactory manner in which the Inspectors had performed
