In this Table it will be seen that out of the total number of cases
reported only 1·5 per cent, died, which shows that the disease assumed
a very modified form.
The fatality in the third quarter was heavy, for while the cases
notified Were only 11 in number, the deaths were 2, and these were the
only deaths during the year.
