ENTERIC FEVER.
Forty-eight deaths were registered from Enteric Fever. This is
10 more than in 1892, and 23 more than in 1891, but 13 less than the
average of the ten years 1881—90.
The 48 deaths produced a death-rate of 0·14 per 1,000 inhabitants,
which is 0·06 below the mean death-rate of the district during the last
decennial period.
The particulars of the deaths and death-rates will be found in the
following tables, in which it will be noted that there was no death from
the disease in Highbury in the first quarter, or in Islington South
East, in the second quarter.
