10,466 Loads of Dust at £267 1s. 1d. is equal to a little
over 6d. per load, against 7½d. last year and the previous year.
Street Sweepings.—During the year, 6595 loads of
street sweepings and dung were removed from the Parish. 161
freights were barged away at a cost of £688 14s. 0d. The
contract with Messrs. Tuff & Muskin for barging this refuse at
the price of £3 19s. 0d. per freight expired in July, and
£3 18s. 0d. was the new tender accepted for the work.
