INFANTILE MORTALITY.
Of the 242 children born 10, including 1 illegitimate,
died under one year of age, yielding an Infantile Mortality
Rate of 41.3 per 1000 born. The rate was 58.8
for 1919, and 73.7 for 1920.
Five infants died from Congenital Debility and Premature
Birth, most of them surviving only a few hours.
In 1921 the Infantile Mortality Rate for England
and Wales was 83, for London 80, and for the 148
smaller towns 84.
There were 6 stillborn births.
