ANNUAL REPORT, 1917.

To the Chairman and Members of the Wealdstone
Urban District Council.
Gentlemen,
I have the honour to present my Annual Report
upon the Sanitary condition of the Wealdstone Urban
District for the year ending December 31st, 1917.
The special instructions of the Local Government
Board issued last year in regard to the condensing of
the Report into as small a space as possible during the
continuation of the war and dealing only with matters
that are essential are still in force, and this Report must
be regarded as arranged in accordance with this plan.
POPULATION.
The estimated civilian population of the District as
supplied to me by the Registrar General is 12,346.
The number of occupied houses and flats in the
district is 2,646.
