In conclusion, Gentlemen, I beg to thank you for the
consideration you have always given to my suggestions, and
feel sure you will agree with me in thinking there is much in
this Report to repay us for past efforts, and hope to stimulate
us to further exertions in the direction of sanitary progress
and reform.
By request of the Local Government Board, I append
tables of statistics of population, deaths, and births for the
last 5 years, with rates and averages and new cases of
infectious sickness, classified according to diseases and ages;
also a detailed report from the Sanitary Inspector of work
carried out by him.
