scavenging.
The Collection and disposal of house refuse has been
satisfactorily carried out during the year. No difficulty has
arisen as to the disposal of the refuse.
The refuse is taken out of the District and used for
manurial purposes.
During the year, the Hampstead Borough Council commenced
to deposit their refuse in this District and complaints were
received from residents in the Hendon District. Immediate steps
were taken by the Kingsbury Council to prevent the dumping of
this refuse and I am glad to say their efforts were successful.
Several inspections to the dumping ground were made by the
Sanitary Inspector and myself and all necessary steps taken
to prevent a nuisance.
