In my opinion this sampling system is productive
of much good, insofar as it enables a definite result to
be shewn to the producer and his staff. The milk
trade is realising, too, like many others, that it pays to
sell the best article, especially when it costs no more
than an inferior one.
Your Sanitary Inspectors are to be congratulated
on the amount of work which they have carried out for
some years past in the matter of the improvement of the
milk supply. I am convinced that it is only due to
their exhaustive efforts that it can now be said that the
milk supply of the Orsett District is as good as any in
the country.
