Inspection of Sanitary Conveniences.
The number of Sanitary Conveniences inspected was 119,
32 in Clapham, 26 in Putney, 23 in Streatham, 13 in Tooting,
and 25 in Wandsworth. 227 inspections were made during the
year and 20 notices, chiefly for cleansing, were served and complied
with; and 113 inspections of Sanitary Conveniences for
females were made by the Female Sanitary Inspectors.
Canal Boats Act.
During the year 11 inspections of Canal Boats were made
but it was not necessary to serve any notices, as on inspection
the condition of all the boats was found to be satisfactory.
