The total number of addresses received from other Councils
was 484, and 185 addresses were forwarded to other Councils.
The number of addresses received has decreased by 135, and the
number sent decreased by 49. 40 names and addresses were
forwarded to this Borough in error, and are not included in the
above Table.
The number of notices sent to employers during the year
was 22, and these had a most satisfactory result.
During the year 22 cases of infective diseases, one of German
Measles, 10 of Scarlet Fever, five of Diphtheria, four of
Measles, one of Pneumonia, and one of Whooping-cough, were
notified as having occurred in the homes of outworkers. In
none of these cases was it necessary to make any order under
Section 110 of the Factory and Workshop Act.
