The following Table shows the death-rate per 100,000 from
Pulmonary Tuberculosis in the whole Borough and for the separate
sub-districts for the year, as well as for the preceding 10
years.

Other Infective Diseases.
21 deaths occurred (two in Clapham, three in Putney, seven
in Streatham, and nine in Wandsworth).
Seven were under one year of age, one from two and under
five years, one from five and under 15 years, two from 15 and
under 25 years, three from 25 and under 45 years, four from 45
and under 65 years of age, and three over 65 years.
13 of the deaths were due to Syphilis, five to Septicaemia,
one to Streptothorax of Lung, one to Tetanus, and one to
Pellagra.
Acute Polio-myelitis.
Two deaths occurred during the year, particulars of these
are given on page 72.
