Zymotic diseases.—A slight increase has taken
place since last year in the deaths from Zymotic diseases.
The total deaths were 24. In 1879 there were 20.
There is a decrease upon the total for 1878, however.

It may be seen that the year under review was
chiefly prolific in Whooping Cough, Typhoid Fever, and
Diarrhoea, whilst the other diseases were only represented
by one fatal case of Scarlatina.
