St. Paul's and Vale Wards.
Of the three cases notified after death, one was a child aged
5 that died of Tuberculous Broncho-Pneumonia. In one, the
diagnosis was not made until the post-mortem, and the third
case was a child that died from disease affecting the abdominal
glands.

Remainder of Borough.
Of the four cases notified on, or after death, one was a case
of Pulmonary Tuberculosis. Two were cases of Meningitis,
and one of Peritonitis, which was not diagnosed until the postmortem.
Of the five cases culled from death returns, one
was a case of Meningitis in a child two years old. One was
a case of Pulmonary disease diagnosed just before death. The
other three cases were Pulmonary disease, given in one case
as a Secondary cause of death.
