The foregoing list of deaths, which I include for the first time,
calls for some remarks. In the first instance as, under my
instructions, the inspectors are obtaining the removal (to the
hospitals of the Metropolitan Asylums Board) of all cases of
infectious disease, which cannot be thoroughly isolated at home,
it is necessary to include the deaths occurring among those
removed in my returns.
