the school board for london.
Compared with that of the preceding year the demand
of the School Board for London was some £700 less, the
amount being £32,972. To raise this, a rate of ll½d. in the
£ was made.
Including the amount of the above named precept, the total
of the sums contributed by the ratepayers of Westminster
to the funds of the School Board, is no less than £358,633,
irrespective of the payments made in respect of the Government
property in the parish, which may be computed at
£20,000.
