DECLARATION AND CERTIFICATES
in connection with the export of meat foods to Argentina, as
prescribed by the Local Government Board Memorandum, 1907.
A letter dated 7th October, 1907, addressed to the Medical Officer of
Health, was received from the Local Government Board stating that they
had received from Messrs. Compton & Davidson, of Hibernia Wharf, S.E.,
an application for the designation of an officer to act as certifying officer
in connection with the export of meat food products to Argentina in view
of the regulations issued on the 4th October, 1906, by the Argentina
Government with regard to the sanitary inspection of meat foods.
The Board, having been informed by the Town Clerk of your assent,
hereby designate you to act as certifying officer for the Metropolitan
Borough of Southwark for the purpose aforesaid until they shall otherwise
determine.
It is intended that this arrangement shall come into force on the
15th instant.
A copy of an official memorandum respecting the conditions to be
observed and the forms of certificates to be given by authorised officers
in connection with the export of meat foods to Argentina is enclosed for
your information.
The following are the forms:—

The following Declaration and Certificates are to be used where the Meat
Foods are stored and packed on, or dispatched for export from,
Premises other than those on which they are prepared.
