TRAMWAYS.
The extension of the Tramways from Old Street to Shoreditoh,
via Great Eastern Street, has been completed. The contribution to
be made by the Tramway Company for the use of tho paving in
Great Eastern Street is £2,303 8s. The Company has provided,
within their limits in this street, new 3x4 Guernsey Granite
Paving.
The Company promoted, in the last Session of Parliament, a

passed the House of Commons and is waiting to be submitted to
the Lords' Committee in the new Parliament.

this Parish, was promoted in the last Session.
Several Schemes have, in previous years, received the sanotion

no actual steps appear to have been taken: they are —
The Widening of the North London Railway and the
diversion of Plough Yard.
The Regents Canal Railway.
The Columbia Market Railway.

the Vestry to alter, or reconstruct, the local Sewors, in order to
give to the locality tho benefit of this provision.
