REPORT OF THE SURVEYOR.
SURVEYORS' DEPARTMENT.
Gentlemen,
Herewith is submitted a summary of the works carried
out under the superintendence of this Department, for the year,
ending 25th March, 1881.
MAINTENANCE OF ROADS.
The following are the quantities of materials supplied by the
Contractors, and used on the McAdam and Ballast Roads in the
Parish, during the year, at a cost of £2977 14s. 0d.
2145½ yards cube Broken Granite
2185 ditto Flints
5 ditto Ballast
910 ditto Hoggin
During the year 416 cubic yards of old pebbles were broken up,
costing £52 4s. 3d., and loaded and carted on the roads, at a
further cost of £31 4s. 0d., making a total of £83 8s. 3d.
