REPORT OF THE SURVEYOR.
SURVEYORS DEPARTMENT.
Gentlemen,
Herewith I beg to submit a summary of the works
carried out under the superintendence of this Department for the
twelve months ending 25th March, 1880.
MAINTENANCE OF ROADS.
The following are the quantities and cost of materials used
ill repairing the Mc Adam and Ballast Roads in the Parish.
2947½ yards cube Broken Granite £2536 14 11
722½ ditto Flints 264 18 4
60 ditto Ballast 18 15 0
937½ ditto Hoggin 292 19 5
During the year 551 cubic yards of old pebbles were
broken up costing £68 17s. 6d. and loaded and carted on the roads
at a further cost of £41 6s. 6d. making a total of £110 4s. 0d.
