ENTERIC FEVER.
For the fifth successive year, a low mortality from enteric fever has to
be chronicled, for the deaths numbered only 13, or 28 below the corrected
average of the preceding twenty years, which is not only relatively, but actually
the smallest number hitherto recorded in Islington since civil registration was
adopted. These deaths represent a death-rate of 0.04 per 1,000 of the population,
as compared with a rate of 010 in the preceding ten years. It ought to
be recorded that no death occurred in Upper Holloway sub-district.
